Meet Lisa
Hi! I'm a registered dietitian and the founder of At The Table, a pediatric and family nutrition practice dedicated to supporting children and the families who love them. As a mom of four, I know what it feels like to worry about feeding your kids and to wonder if you're doing the "right" thing. There's so much advice out there, and it can be overwhelming.
At The Table gives families a place where they feel understood and supported. Whether you're navigating a specific nutrition concern or just want mealtimes to feel easier, I offer reliable, impactful nutrition counseling that is supportive and judgment-free.
My Approach
My holistic approach looks beyond what's on the plate, considering how nutrition connects with movement, sleep, emotions, and family norms and routines. I also strongly believe that nutrition counseling works best as a partnership - with you bringing the unique understanding of your child and family.
Together, we create and implement a plan that:
- Respects your insights about your child's personality, habits, and challenges
- Fits naturally into your family's routines and busy schedule
- Helps kids and teens build healthy habits in a positive, judgment-free way
- Is safe, effective, and grounded in proven practices
Why I Do This Work
I know firsthand how overwhelming feeding kids can feel - especially when medical conditions are involved. One of my children has celiac disease and multiple food allergies, so I have walked the same path many of the families I serve are on.
That personal experience fuels my commitment to helping parents feel confident and supported, and to ensuring every child has the chance to thrive with good nutrition.
Experience
I am a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and a board-certified specialist in pediatric nutrition. For nearly a decade, I've had the privilege of helping families navigate the full range of nutrition needs - from the everyday challenges of growing bodies and developing tastes, to more complex medical concerns.
I trained at Stanford Medicine Children's Health, where I worked with infants, children, and teens in a truly family-centered environment. That experience shaped how I practice today - grounded in science, deeply collaborative, and focused on what works in real life. My goal is to make nutrition counseling practical, positive, and meaningful - not overwhelming.
Outside of Work
When I am not counseling families, you will find me spending time with my kids, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, or trying to keep up with endless loads of laundry. Like many parents, I juggle the everyday chaos of life - and I bring that understanding into every session.
